Heavy-duty wire mesh container: the robust version for high loads and demanding use

Where the wire mesh container reaches its limits, the heavy-duty wire mesh container begins: frames made of 50x50x3 mm square tubes, 1,500 kg load capacity, 4,500 kg stacking load – and 138 standard sizes, from the flat Euro footprint to the 3-meter long or 1.7-meter high box. Especially the tall, narrow formats, which are otherwise unavailable off the shelf, are standard here.

Stacking without stacking lugs

Welded-on stacking lugs are the classic weak point in wire mesh containers: they bend, break off, and then the box stands crooked. The heavy-duty wire mesh container does without them. The four posts extend upwards, and when stacked, the 116x116 mm plate feet of the upper box rest on them. Large contact surface, clear centering, nothing that can break – even if the forklift doesn't position cleanly.

Heavy frame, same philosophy

Like all SLT wire mesh containers, the heavy-duty version is a pure welded construction: no flaps, no hinges, no moving parts. The 50x50x3 square tube makes the frame torsion-resistant even at 3 meters in length, and the center posts support the long walls. The base and walls consist of wire mesh with a mesh size of 50x50/4 mm: dirt, chips, and water fall through, and the contents remain visible from the outside.

138 sizes: low, high, long, narrow

23 basic dimensions from 1200x800 to 3000x2400 mm, combined with six wall heights from 600 to 1700 mm. A 3000x800 mm box with 1700 mm wall height for long, standing parts is thus just as standard as the flat 1200x800x600. And if your dimensions are not among them, we will manufacture the special dimensions right away.
