Product description
Heavy-duty mesh box: the robust design for heavy loads and tough applications
Where the standard mesh box reaches its limits, the heavy-duty mesh box begins: frame made of 50x50x3 mm structural tubing, 1,500 kg load capacity, 4,500 kg stacking capacity – and 138 standard sizes, from the flat Euro-pallet footprint to boxes 3 meters long or 1.7 meters high. Particularly the tall, narrow formats, which are otherwise unavailable off the shelf, are standard items here. For wall heights of 1200 mm and above, every footprint is also available with a folding front wall.
Stacking without stacking lugs
Welded-on stacking lugs are the classic weak point in mesh boxes: they bend, break off, and then the box sits crooked. The heavy-duty mesh box does without them. The four posts extend upward; when stacking, the 116x116 mm plate feet of the upper box sit on them. Large contact surface, precise centering, nothing that can break – even if the forklift operator doesn't approach it perfectly.
Heavy frame, same philosophy
Like all SLT mesh boxes, the heavy-duty version is a purely welded construction: in the standard version, there are no flaps, no hinges, and no moving parts. The 50x50x3 mm structural tubing keeps the frame torsion-resistant even at a length of 3 meters, with center posts supporting the long walls. The floor and walls consist of mesh panels with 50x50/4 mm mesh size: dirt, chips, and water fall through, while the contents remain visible from the outside.
High box, convenient access: folding front wall
The higher the box, the more strenuous manual loading and unloading becomes. In the version with a folding front wall, the upper half of the longitudinal wall can be folded forward – allowing you to access the contents without having to reach over the full wall height. The flap has its own frame made of 40x40x3 mm structural tubing, is attached to the main frame with welded hinges, and is secured in the closed position by two rotary latches. Available in all 23 basic dimensions with 1200, 1400, and 1700 mm wall heights, painted or hot-dip galvanized.
138 sizes: low, high, long, narrow
23 basic dimensions from 1200x800 to 3000x2400 mm, combined with six wall heights from 600 to 1700 mm. A 3000x800 mm box with a 1700 mm wall height for long, upright parts is just as standard as the flat 1200x800x600. And if your required size isn't there, we can also manufacture custom dimensions.
Your advantages at a glance:
- 1,500 kg load capacity, 4,500 kg stacking capacity: designed for heavy goods and high stacks.
- Plate feet instead of stacking lugs: secure stacking, no attachments that can bend or break off.
- 50x50x3 mm structural tubing: welded, torsion-resistant frame.
- 138 standard sizes: 1200–3000 mm length, 800–2400 mm width, 600–1700 mm wall height – even tall and narrow.
- Folding front wall: for all footprints with 1200, 1400, and 1700 mm wall heights – convenient access from the front, secured with two rotary latches.
- Custom dimensions: intermediate sizes and special formats available upon request.
- Mesh floor: 50x50/4 mesh panel instead of a sheet metal tray – no accumulation of dirt and water.
- Standard design without moving parts: no flaps, no hinges – nothing jams, nothing wears out.
