Usable wherever other workshop trolleys are too large

The classic workshop trolley is an institution in the workshop—heavy, fully loaded, with a fixed parking spot. And that's precisely its problem: it's stationary. Anyone working between machines, maintaining control cabinets, or at changing assembly points won't drag it along—they'd rather fetch the tools themselves. An open utility cart would be more mobile but offers no protection from chips, dust, and dirt.

This workshop trolley is compact and narrow enough for tight spaces—with closed drawers that protect what's inside.

Frame made of steel rectangular tubing—weldable, not just sturdy

The supporting structure consists entirely of steel hollow sections (rectangular tubing). Compared to sheet metal constructions, a hollow section frame achieves significantly higher torsional stiffness—this is particularly noticeable with uneven loading or sudden movements. Another advantage, which is not available with clad sheet metal frames, is that the open frame can be directly modified. Hooks, tool holders, cable holders, or custom fixtures can be welded on—without removing cladding, without compromises. The absence of sheet metal cladding is therefore not a deficiency, but a conscious decision for flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

Industrial quality telescopic slides

The drawers run on Ganter GN 1410 series telescopic slides: full extension, galvanized steel, with rubber stops and locking mechanism. The slides are screwed directly to the steel frame—not to glued plastic profiles or intermediate supports. This results in smooth, consistent movement even under load, without play.

Work surface made of 15-mm phenolic plywood

The top plate is made of 15 mm thick phenolic plywood—impact-resistant, cut-resistant, and easy to clean. Directly suitable for rough assembly and adjustment work, without a垫. If it actually wears out after years, it can be replaced without special tools.

PU wheels: quiet and vibration-damping

Polyurethane wheels combine high wear resistance with smooth running characteristics. They dampen shocks when rolling over floor joints or thresholds—a relevant factor when carrying measuring instruments or sensitive tools. Total load capacity: 200 kg.

Suitable alternatives

Those who want to transport tools and parts openly and quickly accessible will find a lighter solution without drawers in the utility cart. For transporting larger quantities of material on multiple levels, the picking trolley offers more capacity.
